Know Your Weingarten Rights

f this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, or affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my Union Representative, Officer or Steward be present at the meeting. Without representation I choose not to answer any questions.

You should have a copy of this card. It means that, by law, if you are called into the office by management, and if you think this may lead to disciplinary action, all you have to do is present this card to the company to request union representation at the meeting

 


 

Bargaining Unit Work
It is up to us to make sure that supervisors respect our contract by not doing bargaining union work.

Vacations
The company and the union have agreed that if you are out 60 days or more, when you come back, your vacation pay for that year will be pro-rated.

Seniority
Union and company also agreed your seniority will NOT CHANGE when you change shifts.
 



Dress Code
In the upcoming Summer months, please be aware of the company dress code. (No spaghetti straps or open toe / open back shoes. The company can send you home for any of these violations.
Just as we expect the company to respect and follow the contract, we should also respect company policies against misusing time, taking things that do not belong to you or destroying company property.
